They will also provide direction to other Information Management Solutions staff while serving as a lead developer. Primary duties:

  • Designs and develops software and data systems and solutions while working with end users and teams to orchestrate data gathering and application design at all stages of the production life cycle.
  • Supports, develops, advises, and coaches other technical staff while serving as a lead developer.
  • Identifies and prioritizes development tasks for the team and assists others in conceptualizing and developing new software programs and applications.
  • Ensures that software code undergoes sufficient testing, uniform enterprise-wide application design standards are current and consistently applied by staff, and application software documentation is accessible for users.
  • Performs research, analysis, and reporting activities and present results, data-driven recommendations, and deliverables to internal stakeholders.
  • Assists department manager with hiring and development of direct reports consistent with Unitus’ values, culture, and people management policies.

As an ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences (or related field) or equivalent work experience.
  • Requires a minimum of seven years of programming experience including extensive experience with languages and applications that include ASP.NET (C#.NET/VB.NET), MVC and Web API, HTML5, CSS, Java Script, SQL, Tableau, ARCU, and basic web page layout and design.
  • Must have experience using software development lifecycle best practices.
  • Must have experience and expert proficiency in database design and development that includes using tools such as SSRS and SSIS and proficiency in creating and editing database reports and dashboards.
  • Requires experience and proficiency in generating analytics from a data warehouse and experience with ETL tools and processes.
  • Experience creating data sources and reports with Tableau (Desktop and Server applications) and proficiency in IOS, Symitar PowerOn code and the Symitar database structure is required.
  • Ability to lead meetings, perform presentations and/or develop concise user-friendly written documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills including effective listening, problem solving, customer service and tact in dealing with internal and external vendors and colleagues.
  • Financial services experience preferred.
  • Lead or supervisory experience preferred.
