Job Description and Hiring Profile

JOB SUMMARY:
BKV Corporation is looking for an experienced data business analyst to help transform how the human resources department leverages data and process to optimize HR planning, processes, and tools and add significant value to BKV’s portfolio of rapid-growth, fast-paced businesses.

Self-starter, with a proven track in using process and data analysis to solve big challenges. Adept at identifying key trends and communicating simply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Business Data Analyst II will support the business through business process and data analysis to drive optimization and quality decision-making. Analyzes, designs, and implements business process to effect change. Collects, compiles, and analyzes HR data, metrics, and statistics. Makes recommendations for improving workforce planning, change capacity, recruitment, rewards, retention, and legal compliance. Typical tasks include:
Work with executives and other key stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement in HR business programs, processes, and metrics.
Lead initiatives that leverage data analysis and process optimization to support key decision-making in workforce planning, org change capacity, compensation, and benefits proposals
Provide analytics support for strategic initiatives such as standing up new business, mergers, and acquisitions.
Share knowledge, provide training, and coach others in methodologies and tools
Create presentation and reports and dashboards based on recommendations and findings
Develop graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data
Work with team members to collect and analyze data.
Structure large data sets to find usable information
Establish success metrics to determine effectiveness of decisions
Stay abreast of best practices and supplication developments
Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Undergraduate degree in related field or relevant work experience is required
Minimum of five (5) years in roles with data analysis focus. Experience of process reengineering is desired
Oil and Gas experience is preferred but not required
Deep skills in quantitative analysis. Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI and SQL or other analysis and visualization software
Understanding of business, and functional practices, processes and metrics required. Human Resources experience a plus but not required.
Effective written and verbal communication skills. Able to explain data and findings in simple terms
Strong influencing, coaching and mentoring skills
Strong in teamworking and collaboration cross functionally
Demonstrated strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
High degree of integrity and honesty; ability to exercise confidentiality and neutrality in sophisticated and critical situations
Experience working in a fast-paced dynamic organization is essential

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The role is based in Denver, Colorado or Fort Worth, Texas. Open to flexible work practices for highly qualified candidate
Occasional travel may be required and would be on an as needed basis. Currently estimated less than 20% of total time, depending on M&A activity

REPORTING STRUCTURE:
The role will report to the VP of HR Effectiveness
The role has no direct reports

SALARY RANGE

$98,000 - $154,000
