We are looking for an Application Support Engineer (.NET) to join ourIT Services Team in the US. This role will be responsible for maintaining the operational aspects of existing applications. Additionally, you will assist in updating and upgrading those applications as they are migrated to the public cloud. As part of this role you will assist with data issues and database backfills. An ability to understand code, identify errors, and troubleshoot how to resolve those errors is critical for this role.
The level of appointment to which band on the company banding structure will be dependent on your skills, experience and capabilities demonstrated at assessment prior to offer of employment.
About the role
As part of this role, you will:
• Document existing code and processes and improve when the opportunity arises.
• Perform break-fix support for Product applications.
• Troubleshoot errors, solve the issue, and get the application functioning again.
• Write well documented, clean, and highly optimized code utilizing existing DevOps processes.
• Migrate applications from on-prem data center to Azure or AWS.
• Update third-party or dependency software versions, recompile and redeploy code for existing applications
• Bachelors Degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years experience with .NET, Java, and Python development
• Ability to work and communicate effectively across teams, including non-technical teams.
• Must be analytical, flexible, innovative, and self-motivated.
• Must be able to succeed in a dynamic/distributed team environment and be open to overtime when necessary.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively with minimal supervision
