The Software Report Developer is a vital part of our IT team, overseeing the processing of data into comprehensive reports to support department needs. This position is mostly remote with occasional on-site time required.

SPECIFIC WORK TASKS:

• Create Tableau/PowerBI/SSRS/Cognos dashboards and paginated reports
• ETL and Data Management / Data Integration
• Consult with users to analyze and understand reporting needs
• Communicate at regular intervals to provide and maintain channels of two-way communication
• Ensure general reporting standards are developed, published, reviewed, and administered
• Ensure reporting processes and procedures are documented and available to associates
• Provide training and assistance to users for generation of adhoc reports
• Ensure cross training sufficient to perform work functions under predictable work absences
• Act as a resource to resolve systems issues as they arise doing normal conduct of business
• Analyze, update, and maintain database tables as required
• Ensure maintenance of a clean and orderly work environment
• Audit, load, and maintain specific files
• May be asked to participate in other IT Team projects and upgrades

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience required
• 2+ years experience designing, developing, deploying, and managing Tableau/ PowerBI/ SSRS/ Cognos datasets
• 3+ years of experience in two or more database (Snowflake/MS SQL/PostgreSQL/DB2/MySQL)
• 1+ year of experience in Matillion ETL tool
• 1+ year of experience with cloud infrastructure
• Data visualization tools experience is highly preferred, specifically PowerBI/Tableau/SSRS/Cognos
• Excellent competency and ability to write complex SQL required
• Ability to communicate effectively with listening and conflict management skills
• Ability to document reporting standards and processes
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
• Knowledge of business functions of team
• Knowledge of company business practices
• Understanding of processes and constraints
• Time management, communication, organizational and listening skills
• Understanding of resource management techniques and processes

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
