The Role

S&P Global is seeking an Associate Director of Product Management to lead our search and discovery capabilities for the Market Intelligence platform. Our ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience working on both financial search and document products
  • An understanding of the use of financial data
  • Experience managing a team of product managers

The position plays a key role on the S&P Global Market Intelligence Search Product Management team and for the organization as a whole. The Associate Director role offers exposure to all groups and opens doors for tremendous career opportunities with S&P Global. In the role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering search capabilities of the S&P Global Platform. You will also be responsible for interfacing with internal and external stakeholders to ensure what we build drives real client value and to ensure that all areas of the business are aware of and are leverage enhancements to the platform.

About You
  • You have the ability to present to diverse audiences commanding both subject matter and technical expertise
  • You have a passion for building product and working in the intersection of financial data and technology systems
  • You are able to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a given time and under tight deadlines
  • You have a deep appreciation and knowledge of financial content and financial professional workflows
  • You have experience leading a team of product managers
Key Roles And Responsibilities

The Product Management team works in close collaboration with our clients and internal teams and divisions —Sales, Marketing, Account Management and Client Services, Content, and Technology— to refine and deliver the roadmap for platform Search and Discovery capabilities. Your job is to create the best possible product for our client, including:
  • Serving as product or project owner on several high profile, high impact deliverables for our next generation of platform capabilities from concept through launch
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to help build the long-term roadmap for platform capabilities
  • Work with our customer segment teams and customers to understand, refine and deliver a system that meets their requirements
  • Develop and executing on go-to-market strategies for product rollout/launch
  • Be the subject matter expert on search
  • Manage a team of 3-5 product managers for search and document discovery
  • Lead the migration of users from legacy platforms/capabilities
  • Serve as a platform ambassador for the entire Market Intelligence Platform.
What We're Looking For
  • BA/BS in finance, business, or related fields
  • 7+ years of product management experience working with Agile/Scrum
  • Strong knowledge of global financial markets
  • Experience working with search systems
  • A professional, highly dedicated, detail-oriented, and energetic personality, with the ability to work and thrive in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver complex solution including building platforms
  • Demonstrable, directly related product development work experience. Familiarity with major data, research and analytics platforms a plus.
  • Excellent presentation skills. Ability to take on internal and external presentation responsibilities
  • Management experience, ability to lead and develop a global team of product managers
Compensation/Benefits Information

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $88,400 to $201,800. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
