Basic Purpose

Navy Federal’s Cloud Organization fosters a collaborative environment and is building a best-in-class Cloud program that protects Navy Federal information and cloud compute environments.

This role is responsible for providing Cloud technical leadership to internal business lines and delivering cloud solutions in a fast paced agile environment using the latest methodologies and infrastructure.

Candidate will have technical consultative role and must be able to collaborate and support multiple product teams in defining Cloud solutions, implementing services and identifying risks to successful implementations.

Candidate will participate in scrum meetings and must be able to adapt to change, with focus on value delivery with minimal day-to-day direction.

Responsibilities will include implementing solutions for Azure Cloud, with a focus on security in the cloud environment that include authentication, authorization, and provisioning of storage and verification.

Required Skills and Experience :

• Must have : 3+ years’ working experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS
• Must have : Strong, clear and measured verbal communication skills
• Experience with Azure AD, Azure Resource Management Templates and Azure policies
• 5+ years of software engineering and development, including requirement definition, software development, integration, installation, maintenance and testing with languages like C#, Java, JavaScript in Windows and Linux environments
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux servers
• Knowledge of TCP / IP networking, SMTP, HTTP, load-balancers, high availability architecture, zero downtime production deployments
• Basic understanding of HTML and GUI web interfaces with AJAX and JavaScript
• Experience with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)

Desired :

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Service Now
• Strongly Desired : Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
• Hands-on development and scripting skills in PowerShell 5
• Experience using GitHub, Chef and / or Jenkins
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Experience with DevOps and Agile practices, Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) pipelines

Navy Federal Credit Union assesses market data to establish salary ranges that enable us to remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range, based on your experience, location and market position.

The salary range for this position is : $92,900 - $160,400 Annually

Due to COVID-19 and social distancing, this position will be temporarily working from home with plans to return to campus at the desired location listed once Navy Federal is back to normal operations.

The specific logistics for returning to campus will be determined at a future date by individual leadership
