The purpose of the Hardware Project Manager role is to support building a new business for bp through provision of world-class hardware for all use cases.

You are responsible for coordinating activities between internal hardware stakeholders including product managers, engineering and operations teams, payments, and certifications.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Organize, coordinate, and lead projects to assess and on-board suitable hardware to meet customer demands.
  • Be the interface and glue between hardware product managers, program managers, engineering, operations, payment, procurement, branding, marketing, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance of the design and development of the product.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure that identified and on-boarded hardware products are ordered and delivered on time and within budget.
  • Prepares and presents reports on work undertaken to further short-term objectives or presents proposals on the direction recommended to achieve short-term objective.
  • Contribute effectively in team environments and demonstrates awareness of relevant elements of other disciplines. Independently evaluates projects and selects techniques, procedures, and criteria using independent judgment.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Proven track record in project management of technical projects.
  • Good working knowledge and awareness of EV charging technology and understanding of operation and structures of charging networks and how they are integrated.
  • Agile project management and the ability to work in flexible and highly commercially focused ways to achieve results.
