• BS in Computer Science or related technical field
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with at least one major JavaScript framework (Angular, React etc.)
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management (especially Git), build processes, testing, and operations

As a Front End Engineer II, you will help solve a variety of technical challenges and mentor other engineers. You will play an active role in translating business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables and build quick prototypes or proofs of concept in partnership with other technology leaders within the team. You will help invent new features, design, develop and deploy reliable front end applications. You will work with a variety of core languages and technologies.

You will tackle challenging situations every day and you’ll have the opportunity to work with multiple technical teams at Amazon. For Colorado Applicants: The pay range for this position in Colorado is $168,070 – 227,389 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
