Shenoy Engineering - Mechanical Engineer

SHENOY Engineering, PC [SEPC], a full-service consulting engineering firm, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer for mechanical engineering design services related to HVAC, building systems.

SEPC specializes in planning, design, cost estimating, construction administration, and inspections for both new and existing commercial, institutional, educational, residential and industrial buildings. We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Mechanical Engineer in HVAC, Building Systems Design Engineering with the ability to design such projects, conforming to Construction Codes in the States of NY and NJ, working from our offices located in Pine Brook, NJ.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prepare complete mechanical engineering design scope reports, calculations, sizing, layouts, drawings, specifications and other documents
• Conceptualize initial design and develop comprehensive mechanical system design.
• Conduct site & condition surveys and prepare engineering documents as required
• Coordinate with Architects, other Engineering disciplines, contractors, clients and others
• Attend meetings with clients and others for review, construction phase and as required
• Provide follow-up and engineering supervision during project construction phase

QUALIFICATIONS –

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Master’s Degree is preferred.
• 3 to 10 years of experience in designing, drafting HVAC systems, not in a manufacturing/product environment
• Strong Technical knowledge of HVAC systems
• AutoCAD proficiency and REVIT experience
• Knowledge of NY and NJ Building Construction Codes & Standards
• P.E., LEED AP Preferred
• Must have approved/accepted work authorization

Pay: $60,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
