Subject matter expert relied on heavily for knowledge experience and expertise in managing large Medical Center projects and programs that are highly visible to executive leaders and board members. Specifically involved in information technology deployments and major medical center initiatives such as major technology investments and new business acquisition. Establishes priorities for mission-critical high-profile projects that require special attention. Provides project management monitors including development of the project plan tracking of budget and expenses and development of progress reports as the project work proceeds.

• Provides process leadership in project management discipline for IT application implementations and other organizational projects.
• Act as a leader or member of a project team responsible for analysis design development and implementation of the projects assigned .
• Leads all phases of project management activities; able to define plan and implement specific business objectives.
• Utilizes MS Suite of tools to manage and report on project completion.
• Utilizes Project Management Software such as MS Project to manage projects and project plans.
• Approaches problems analytically and implements solutions that meet project goals and budgets.
• Regularly provides guidance training and support to staff and/or senior management on project management techniques.
• Works directly with the procurement office to facilitate all aspects of the procurement process.
• Leads and facilitates meetings; includes stakeholders senior level management executives and board members.
• Leads project teams and maintains project momentum; manages budgets schedules and prepares reports.
• Aids team members with solving project issues and developing resolutions to meet multiple Health System goals and objectives.
• Manages vendors to affect completion of required tasks and compliance with contract timeframes and deliverables.

Position Compensation Range: $104,894.40 - $167,835.20 Annual

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree Preferred.
Experience: 7+ years of hands-on project management experience. 7 years with all aspects of the Project Management Life Cycle2 years of data gathering/business analysis Healthcare industry experience preferred Information Technology experience preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Licensure: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required. Program or Portfolio Management certification preferred.

Job requires sitting for prolonged periods. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull <= 20lbs and freely travel and climb stairs.
