Full Job Description
Overview:
The Product Management Specialist (Partner Program and Licensing) position within the Product Management department of Sharp’s Business Products division, is a full-time position that supports Software Product Management including Sharp developed applications as well as managing the Sharp Partner Program and MFP Certifications. This position will assist in developing and maintaining third party relationships. The PMS will gain valuable knowledge by working closely with key department personnel and managers while assisting Sharp in expanding its Business Products Division.

Responsibilities:
Manage partner program member relationships as a key point of contact.
Manage MFP certification roadmap, coordinate tests, update marketing colleratal and announce new certifications achieved.
Maintain and distribute a reference matrix of 3rd party connectors available from key partner program members to illustrate the added value of member solutions to channel partners.
Communicate the value of the partner program to existing and potential program members to ensure they are taking full advantage of the program’s features.
Manage Partner participation at Sharp events such as Dealer Meetings and Road Shows.
Coordinate Sharp’s participation in, and attend 3rd party events and shows.
Maintain a competitive matrix of integrated solutions offered by competitive MFP vendors to better understand the market and the possibility of new program members.
Assist product managers in launching new products, providing critical hands on help when needed.
Assist with the key aspects of the “4 P’s of Product Management” – product, price, promotion & place.
Provide escalation support for the Sharp License Portal.
Aid in the preparation and delivery of presentations for marketing, sales and executive use.
The PMS will be guided by a Senior Manager; however, the individual will be encouraged to seek guidance and partner with departmental staff as needed.

Qualifications:
1-3 year’s experience with product management.
Bachelor’s degree is required, Marketing, IT, Engineering and General Business majors strongly preferred.
Candidate applying should have a background in or strong interest in cutting edge business technologies and applications.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must.
Strong computing skills, especially Excel & PowerPoint.
