Splunk's Web Engineering team is a dynamic, best-in-class & talented set of individuals. As part of growing business needs, the Web Engineering team is looking for a Software Developer to join the team working on Adobe Experience Manager Assets as a Cloud Service.

As a Sr Developer - AEM Assets (Cloud Services), you will be responsible for implementing the first platform as a service for assets and help us make the future customer experience scalable.

The ideal candidate should have relevant and extensive experience focused on technical delivery.


  • Work with engineering teams to design, build, and maintain systems and solve complex experience management operations and automation challenges.
  • Familiar with Java development concepts and practices. Prior knowledge of AEM as a cloud service (Sites or Assets, preferably Assets) development is a must.
  • Advocate and implement the latest Digital Marketing Solutions and Strategies.
  • Work in an agile, rapid development, and prototyping environment.
  • Integrate AEM Assets with Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Configuration of rights management solutions (including all supporting elements such as metadata, business logic, workflows, and security)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and in the workshop, sessions to understand the current state and to identify the future state for the proposed solution.
  • Define various workflows for AEM DAM cloud assets.
  • Setup DAM and Deploy Assets - SSO and brand portal.
  • Conduct regular checkpoints to ensure alignment with objectives and KPIs.
  • Keep pace with the evolving technology trends in software development and operations to take advantage of the industry trends and translate them for Splunk.


  • B.S. or M.S. preferably in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience with Strong CS foundation.
  • 6+ years of experience in implementing websites, web applications, and / or CMS / DAM implementations.
  • Experience migrating content and assets from legacy systems to AEM Sites / AEM Assets as a Cloud Service.
  • Experience with AWS OR GCP or Azure cloud platforms and their concepts.
  • Experience in container technologies like Mesos, DC / OS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • At least one successful implementation of AEM as a Cloud Service.
  • Knowledge and awareness of best practices for AEM as a Cloud Service.
  • Experience working with PMs, BA / PO’s, Tech Lead and Architects to plan out an end-to-end solution.
  • Highly motivated, reliable, detailed, and driven to produce high-quality work.
  • Should thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adobe AEM Sites or Assets certifications are beneficial but not required.
