Our client is a well-established industrial trade organization. The Certification Program Manager oversees the development, maintaining, editing, and publishing of assigned Certification.

  • Work with committee volunteers in completing committee goals such as publishing new qualification and certification standards and other activities.
  • Serve as staff contact and Secretary to the organization’s certification committees and their subgroups as assigned
  • Coordinate technical editing of documents with approved vendors

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2 years of experience in program management
  • Proficiency with Adobe software (Acrobat), Microsoft Dynamics CRM (basic functions) and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of US national standards development and US TAG operating procedures
  • Knowledge of Industrial or allied technologies
  • Knowledge of Robert’s Rules of Order
  • Experience working with non-profit board members and/or volunteers

Experience with US national or international standards development.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to set priorities, make calls, organize meetings, and execute work plans and timelines on multiple projects.
  • Excellent English writing, editing, and proofing skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, to effectively facilitate, collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to serve a diverse set of volunteers and customers across our programs
  • Ability to analyze, synthesize, creatively solve problems, and make decisions
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time-sensitive tasks
  • Strong computer skills (PC based network environment, MS Windows/Office, Outlook)
  • Ability to run a web-based meeting (Teams, GoToMeeting, Zoom, or other)
  • Ability to collaborate with the team using technology (audio and video conferencing, collaborative software)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Willingness to travel

Compensation

$69,000- $80,000 annual salary, plus benefits, and holidays and PTO
