Target Salary $140k - $165k base
Job Summary:
Join a company of about 200 employee Utah company that creates custom software products for investors, fund managers, and stock exchange reps.. They are a Java shop, and utilize Microservices along with test driven development. Teams are between 3-9 people mostly software developers working alongside QA, Infrastructure, and the DevOps group.. This role will initially join the team doing both new software products as well as maintenance coding to learn their systems, legacy frameworks, products. Then also be new software solutions development.
There are different roles on multiple teams including
- Team Lead
- SR Software Engineer
May also mentor and lead other team-members to help build up their technical skills.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years Java software engineering.
- Java Spring Boot
- Dependency Injection
- Experience with Kubernetes, Message Queues, and Microservice
- Unit Tests - Test-driven development, mocking libraries, code coverage
- Exposure to CI/CD pipeline, code analysis, code review process
- Exposure to DevOps Monitoring - Proactive Notifications Troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis in Complex Distributed Systems Experience with load/stress testing and performance tuning
- Experience with issue tracking system (JIRA, VersionOne, FogBugz, Rally, Bugzilla, etc.)
- Experience with version control (Git, Subversion, Mercurial, etc.)
- Dependency Injection Familiarity with Design Patterns
- Mentoring Familiarity with Agile Software Development Processes
- BS Degree, preferably in Computer Science, or similar technical area
