Nature of job:
The Product Manager will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle and P&L for ProPBM, a pharmacy claims processing system. The lifecycle includes ideation, business requirements, concept testing, pricing, development, value propositions, customer presentations, contracting, sales education and marketing plans.

Responsible for retention of payer customers and ensuring our solutions meet customer needs. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity regarding core solutions function and value, pricing, image, and other competitive measurements. Interacts with sales and customers to understand unique and complex business problems and determine how CoverMyMeds can best solve. Establishes pricing strategies and acts as subject matter expert in support of Sales and existing customer base. Develops plans for coordination with development, sales, marketing, support, and other internal teams for successful implementation of new offerings or to enhance existing products. The Product Manager is responsible for the success of the products.

Critical Skills

Experience with Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or Health Plans on pharmacy claims processing systems.
Heathcare industry experience

Job Description

Owns product vision and roadmap for existing established payer products
Monitors business, P & L, market share & growth forecasts
Bring solutions to market
Manages product concept validation, launch planning, and provides post launch product support on net new solutions.
Works with vendor/partner relationships
Oversees appropriateness of custom development requests from customers and drives successful deployment of enhancements.
Works with project manager on project activities, issues resolution, etc.
Provides pre-sale support by way of presentations, value propositions, competitive analysis, and positioning, for Sales Team.
Works with product marketing to create product presentations, marketing programs, and other product-related communications.

Minimum Requirements

8+ years of experience in product management or equivalent experience preferably in healthcare technology.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Product Management experience in healthcare technology
Knowledge of NCPDP and pharmacy standards a plus
Experience managing product P&L Demonstrated ability to develop solution value propositions; design presentations that clearly articulate the solution value proposition and/or ROI.
Define market positioning of products/services and set pricing strategy to gain customer acceptance, meet market share objectives, and sustain long term profitability.
Ability to influence internal customers, external customers, and business leaders.
Excellent verbal and written communications; experienced in presenting to large groups.
Demonstrated ability to provide competitive analysis and market insight.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to understand both the 'big picture’ as well as tactical 'details’
Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Ability to foster effective working relationships with peers within and across organizational lines
Proficient in Microsoft applications including Work, Excel and PowerPoint

Education: MBA preferred in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience

Must be authorized to work in the U.S, now or in the future, without the support of McKesson.

Relocation is NOT budgeted for this position.

This is a full-time, salaried position with an expected salary range of US $120,000 to $135,000. A competitive salary is determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as alignment with market data
Other Compensation: This position may be eligible to participate in the annual management incentive plan
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

A competitive salary is determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as alignment with market data. Subject to eligibility, other compensation, such as an annual performance bonus opportunity or long term incentive, may be offered.

Our Pay Range for this position:
$109,200 - $182,000
