Industrial Constructors/Managers, Inc. serves the manufacturing and process industries with safely executed industrial and commercial construction projects. Industries include mining and material processing, food and beverage, power generation, aerospace, pharmaceutical, transportation, engineering, and construction.

Industrial Constructors/Manager's, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team.

Summary: The Project Engineer’s main focus is to provide support to field personnel and assist the Project Manager where necessary. The Project Engineer focuses on the procurement of permanent contract materials and equipment, subcontractor coordination, preconstruction meetings, change management, and project close-out. This position supports field personnel by focusing beyond day to day activities to future items weeks out in the schedule, so they are procured and on-site when the field crews need them for installation. Once these materials/equipment are on site, the Project Engineer assumes a secondary support roll to field personnel and management

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as referred by the project scope.

· RFIs

· Submittals

· Assist PM with Schedule monitoring and maintenance

· Assist PM with budget monitoring and maintenance

· Change order pricing

· Manage field engineering/design issues

· Subcontractor/Supplier Coordinating- submittals, RFIs, preconstruction meetings, scheduling

· Permanent material/equipment procurement (long lead-time items)

· Generate and maintain procurement log

· Document control As-built/Redline drawings

· Project closeout documentation

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management/Project Management. Or 6 years’ experience in Construction

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suites
