The Program Manager will work within the Center of Excellence of the Global Spend Management (GSM) group. The role will support best practices including policy, communication, and training of company employees. The employee will also assist in benchmarking work, Ariba procurement, AP, and strategic sourcing user training, and supporting solutions for the broader GSM team (Procurement, Sourcing, Supplier Management, AP, and T&E).
Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!
Builds and implements communication and training programs for Ariba end users.
Updates and acquires consensus for new policies or revisions to Global Spend Management policies.
Crafts new content when needed for category planning templates
Supports category leads and strategic sourcing projects by reinforcing and training our standardized processes
Creates training documentation (Google slides, power-point, and MS Word) and training videos on SAP Ariba processes
Works with suppliers and internal users to improve SAP Ariba experience
Works with technical ariba team members to improve Splunk employees user experience
Makes recommendations to improve processes and/or efficiencies through automation
Communicates both to internal GSM team and broader Splunk users via internal posts regarding standard methodologies or training tips
Develops processes to enhance overall training look and feel delivered to employees
Solicits feedback from employees regarding the appropriateness of training content looking for continuous improvement
Collaborates with the Manager to ensure training is effective
Develops/implements new course content as processes change or new techniques or system features are introduced.
Maintains, updates, and coordinates the standard methodologies ‘Knowledge Base’ located on SAP Ariba.
Requirements: I’ve already done that or have that!
A detailed level of understanding of SAP Ariba and internal controls.
Intermediate skills in design, development, and implementation of training.
Advanced skills in using Google Slides, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint.
Use of Canva to build creative communication.
Requires a high level of organizational and time management skills.
Ability to communicate information clearly to facilitate effective learning.
This position requires speaking in classroom /training settings.
Requires strong interpersonal skills which enable appropriate collaboration with trainees, colleagues, and subject-matter experts.
Problem solver / critical thinker. Both identify problems and suggest possible solutions.
Education and Experience Desired: Got it!
Undergraduate degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience in Corporate Communications, Sourcing, Accounts Payable, or Procurement.
