Project Manager/ Superintendent

You’ll be responsible for managing all functions of the construction job site as it relates to remodeling & building quality residential homes.

Your main duties will include:

  • Managing all aspects of residential construction projects from pre-con through final inspection.
  • Supervise staff and problem solving on site with project team.
  • Be in open communication with clients and architects on a regular basis.
  • Preparing project reports and conducting daily walks.
  • Develop costs estimates, work scope, and final proposals for the projects you will be running.
  • Use computer software to create & maintain schedules, change orders, and project details.
  • Oversee all trades and guide them through their work and setting expectations for quality.
  • Track and manage construction budget and client billing during entirety of project.
  • Monitoring project cleanliness and quality.
  • Management of construction resources.
  • Reading and interpreting plans and other construction documents.

Qualifications for applicant include:

  • 5+ Years residential construction experience.
  • 2+Years residential construction project management experience.
  • Honesty, integrity, and positive attitude is a must.
  • Extensive computer skills with advanced Microsoft Excel experience.
  • Above-average aptitude for the use of job site and mobile technology.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including teamwork and cooperation.
  • Exceptional knowledge of structural systems, building codes, and trade work.
  • Extensive experience and understanding of remodeling older homes.
  • Polished carpentry skills and the willingness to occasionally get dirty and lead by example.
  • Be action-oriented, decisive, and customer-centric.
  • Have a high attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent organizational skills and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and a vehicle capable of hauling lumber, tools and other construction materials. Lumber rack may be provided by Akos, if needed.
  • You must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent. College experience is not required.
